On Saturday night we went over to the neighbors house for a play date (Jacque, Kate and Maggie!). We all had a really good time and can't wait for summer when they can play outside together!

2 Months Old

Ben was 2 months old last Thursday, February 25th. He is growing so fast, well lengthwise at least. We will be going in for his 2 month appointment on Monday and are very excited to see how much he weighs (Not so excited about watching him get shots).

He is smiling and talking so much more, and is starting to stick his hands (yes, both hands) in his mouth!

Date Night

Jerry and I went out with Heidi and Jon a few weeks ago to see his uncle's band play at the V.F.W. P.S. and Cheryl babysat Ben for us while we were out. He was very busy! Here are some pictures of what he did during his first night away from his parents! Thanks for babysitting guys!

How do you know your baby is getting big?

...He has almost outgrown his coming home outfit. We keep having this problem that Ben's feet don't fit in his onsies, but you could stick 2 of his bodies in them.

Good Morning!

Yesterday morning Ben starting making a little noise, so we brought him into bed with us while we were waking up. A few minutes later he started crying, so I got up to make him his bottle. As soon as I got out of bed he was all SMILES!! Apparently, he just wanted a little daddy and Ben time in the bed! Little rascal! I went to get a picture, but by that point he was hungry. Here are some pictures from last night...we got some pretty funny ones.

We were blowing spit bubbles last night! He'll go back and forth with you! It's the funniest thing. We will try to get it on video to post it.

Thank Goodness for Grandma's

On Tuesday I came down with Mastitis. I was feeling absolutely miserable with almost a 102 temperature (for those of you who have never had it, it feels like the flu). It really kicked my butt and I had the chills one minute and the sweats the next. This lasted all day and into the evening. Jerry already had plans to go out to dinner with some friends and I really didn't want him to cancel since he always works so hard and really needed a break and guy time. I told him if his mother could come over than he should still go! Grandma came to rescue to help out so I could rest. I am definitely feeling better today. Medication is real good!

The newest discovery...when the legs are going up in the air, watch out...a big fart is coming and oh boy do they stink! If only cameras and computers could capture smells!

Bath Time!

Ben loves taking baths...as long as he is in the water. Once it's time to come out he's not so happy, but calms down pretty quickly! Here are some PG pictures of bath time.

Blowouts!

Last night Ben would not go to sleep...until we heard 3 huge explosions come out of his exterior area. Of course as soon as that happened he fell asleep! Well you can't let the little man fall asleep with a dirty diaper - so off to the changing table we went...and guess what we found...poo! That's right...all the way up his back and he somehow even got in on his arm! We learned how to get clothes off without getting it in his hair! It was quite funny. As soon as we got him cleaned up, it was time to put on clean jammies...he was smiling and wiggling as we were trying to get clothes put on him! I swear he thought it was a game.
