Thank Goodness for Grandma's

On Tuesday I came down with Mastitis. I was feeling absolutely miserable with almost a 102 temperature (for those of you who have never had it, it feels like the flu). It really kicked my butt and I had the chills one minute and the sweats the next. This lasted all day and into the evening. Jerry already had plans to go out to dinner with some friends and I really didn't want him to cancel since he always works so hard and really needed a break and guy time. I told him if his mother could come over than he should still go! Grandma came to rescue to help out so I could rest. I am definitely feeling better today. Medication is real good!

Olympics

The newest discovery...when the legs are going up in the air, watch out...a big fart is coming and oh boy do they stink! If only cameras and computers could capture smells!

Bath Time!

Ben loves taking baths...as long as he is in the water. Once it's time to come out he's not so happy, but calms down pretty quickly! Here are some PG pictures of bath time.

Blowouts!

Last night Ben would not go to sleep...until we heard 3 huge explosions come out of his exterior area. Of course as soon as that happened he fell asleep! Well you can't let the little man fall asleep with a dirty diaper - so off to the changing table we went...and guess what we found...poo! That's right...all the way up his back and he somehow even got in on his arm! We learned how to get clothes off without getting it in his hair! It was quite funny. As soon as we got him cleaned up, it was time to put on clean jammies...he was smiling and wiggling as we were trying to get clothes put on him! I swear he thought it was a game.

Sleep!

I think we have hit a small milestone! Ben for the past 2 nights has slept 4 hours at one stretch. And he has started sleeping again in the bassinet (THANK YOU JULIE for borrowing it to us, It's been a life saver). I think he is going to out grow it soon! The little stinker is getting so long!

Normally Ben will sleep 3-4 hours, eat and then sleep another 2. Last night he slept 4 hours and then another 5 1/2! Mom and Dad were so excited to get some sleep!

We also took our first nap a few days ago in our crib! Here are some pictures of Ben sleeping in both!
